Ramp spend management, set up by bookkeepers who know your books

Ramp brings corporate cards, expense management, bill pay, and accounting automation into one platform. National Integrity Bookkeeping makes sure it is configured around your chart of accounts, your approval rules, and your month-end close, from day one or whenever your business is ready.

Why Ramp + NI-Books

Great software is only as good as how it's set up

Ramp automates much of the work that slows a finance function down: receipts, coding, approvals, bill payments, and syncing to your accounting system. That automation follows the rules it is given.

A rushed setup leads to transactions coded to the wrong accounts, approvals that bottleneck the owner, and a sync that creates more cleanup than it saves. Our team configures Ramp as your bookkeeper would want it, then reviews the output every month so your financial statements stay accurate and tax-ready.

Without a plan

  • Receipts chased at month-end
  • Generic categories in the GL
  • Shared cards, unclear owners
  • Bills paid from email threads
  • Close drags into the next month

With NI-Books

  • Receipts captured at the swipe
  • Coding rules match your accounts
  • Cards and limits by person or project
  • Bills routed, approved, and synced
  • Books reviewed and closed on time
What Ramp Offers

One platform for how your business spends

Here is what Ramp can do for your business, and how we put each piece to work.

Corporate Cards

Unlimited physical and virtual cards with spending limits, merchant and category controls set per employee, department, or vendor.

  • Dedicated virtual cards per subscription
  • Limits that reset by day, month, or project
  • Lock or adjust cards instantly

Expense Management

Employees text or upload receipts, and Ramp matches them to transactions automatically. AI-assisted policy review flags out-of-policy spend.

  • Receipts via SMS, email, Slack, or app
  • Automatic receipt matching
  • Out-of-pocket reimbursements

Bill Pay & Accounts Payable

Upload or forward invoices. Ramp reads them, routes them for approval, and pays vendors by ACH, card, check, or wire.

  • AI invoice capture
  • Approval workflows by vendor or amount
  • Automated fraud checks & 1099 support

Accounts Receivable

Create invoices, accept payments by ACH, card, or check, and let Ramp handle customer follow-ups and cash application.

  • Invoice creation
  • Automated customer reminders
  • Payments applied to the right invoice

Accounting Automation

Transactions are coded to your GL accounts, classes, and locations, then synced to your accounting system, so the close starts early.

  • QuickBooks Online & Xero sync
  • NetSuite, Sage Intacct & more on paid plans
  • Accruals, amortization, multi-entity

Budgets & Reporting

Track spend against budgets in real time, build custom reports, and ask questions about your spending in plain English.

  • Budget vs. actual tracking
  • Custom & AI-generated reports
  • Scheduled report sharing

Procurement & Vendors

Request, approve, and track purchases before money moves. Vendor records, contracts, and price checks are kept in one place.

  • Purchase requests & POs
  • Contract tracking & renewal alerts
  • Price intelligence on vendors

Travel & Global Spend

Book flights, hotels, and cars within your travel policy. Growing companies can pay vendors and reimburse staff in local currencies.

Questions

Ramp FAQs

Do I have to change banks to use Ramp?

No. Ramp's cards, expense, and bill-pay tools work with your existing operating bank. Ramp's banking features are optional, and we can help you decide whether they make sense for your business.

Does Ramp work with QuickBooks?

Yes. Ramp integrates with QuickBooks Online and Xero on every plan, and with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and other systems on paid tiers. As QuickBooks specialists, we make sure the integration is mapped correctly before anything syncs.

We already use Ramp. Can you still help?

Yes. Many businesses set up Ramp themselves and later find coding errors, duplicate entries, or sync issues. We review your configuration, correct historical entries, and rebuild the rules so your books stay accurate.

When is the right time to add Ramp?

Onboarding is the easiest time because we build your books and your Ramp setup together. It also makes sense when you hire your first employees who spend company money, when bill volume grows, or when you open a new location or entity.

Will my business qualify for Ramp cards?

Ramp makes all eligibility and credit-limit decisions. During your consultation we will walk through Ramp's requirements and help you prepare the information it asks for.

Who do I call when something goes wrong?

Call us first. We know your books and your setup, so we can tell whether it is a coding question, a policy change, or a platform issue to raise with Ramp support, and we handle the follow-up.

Ready to put Ramp to work the right way?
